Armourcote Malaysia is proud to have been chosen for the coating and painting of a Petrobras project, through Aker Malaysia. Aker Malaysia has secured the project to machine 10 Xmas tree spool bodies and related production wing blocks, for the Brazil oil and gas market, through Petrobras.

Armourcote Malaysia, will fully service this project with phosphate, Molybdenum Disulphide, thin film coating and 3 coat epoxy paint systems. This project has been awarded due to Armourcote Malaysia’s ability and willingness to fulfil Aker Malaysia’s scheduled expectations, over the last 6 months, on 2 Xmas Tree spool bodies for the Petronas KANOWIT project and 3 Xmas Tree spool bodies for the Ya Cheng project. This reflects Armourcote Malaysia’s position as being Aker Solutions’ preferred supplier of surface coatings to satisfy the stringent operating conditions within that region.

Surface Technology are delighted to announce that we have recieved approval from JCB for the use of Armourcote 5700 across all their heavy duty vehicles.

Surface Technology have worked in partnership with JCB for several months in order to gain this approval and Sales Director Andrew Courtney tells us it has been a worthwhile activity.

"We are now the preferred supplier for coating all pivot pins on the heavy duty JCB vehicles, which is great recognition for us as we believe that Armourcote is still a leading surface coating. It is great that JCB now recognise that too."
